Some things I’m learning..

(These items may or may not be near-future blog posts. That is my joke as I hate to promise you something that I can’t deliver? *smile* Most of my recent blog-posts proved to be unworthy of publishing.)

1. Returning to frugal life is not as easy as I want it to be.

2. You can shop at Sam’s frugally.

3. I can’t figure out how to live without some un-frugal “things.” I’m not yet sure if that is a “can’t” or a “don’t want to.” Most are “someone else in my home does not want to.” (Which I hate? *sigh*)

4. Bloggers would want to read the kitchen disasters, whether they are related to food process, results, or undesired appearance.

5. When I’m frustrated, I turn to “Etsy Therapy,” which is almost always a less-than-frugal-decision. (But you shouldwill see my new aprons and fabric napkins?)

6. Relearning how to cook from scratch, organizing stuff and thoughts, keeping a house clean, and homeschooling are kicking my butt.

7. Recipezaar.. tried and true.. others’ comments separate the wheat from the tares, and offer very helpful changes. Free is frugal, but $20/year just may save my sanity.

8. Choose recipes back-to-back, with similar ingredients and/or processes and do those repetitive parts at the same time.

9. My aprons make me feel “dressed up.”

10. When in doubt, ask Twitter. Not my FriendFeed. The answer will, almost always, come back from Friendfeed, however.  Not sure I comprehend because the answers usually come from those I’m connected to in both arenas.  Because of some I’m connected to in Twitter, I will keep using both.
