FREE Blogging Lessons! THANK YOU Darren Rowse!

ThankyouI was very apprehensive about my decision to join the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog, series, offered by Darren Rowse, THE PROBLOGGER.

I was concerned that I would be “biting off more than I can chew.” I have been working, diligently, to be consistent, in my posting, while I tried to define my goals and plans, in the blog department.

I live to blog. That is no secret. There is no better way to learn or share your wealth, of what you are learning. Blog posts are your own, personal, bookmarks.

I was too busy to open my first day’s challenge, until day 3. I was feeling overwhelmed, and Darren pulled me in and made me feel so instantly comfortable.

I wish I had read this lesson, about having an elevator pitch, when I went to my first meet-up. I never thought about someone asking me what I do or what I blog about.

At the time, I only posted at Carolina Dreamz. It was about me and my life. But, what was that? That was too many things to say, in one sentence.

“I am a Cali Girl transplanted to the LowCountry.” “My life IS a Kenny Chesney Song.” “Carolina Dreamz, With a Z!” became my answers.

That was better than, “I’m just a mom.”

Amazingly, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I, also, didn’t know that I knew so much.

Darren’s approach, to showing up in my email box, nudging me into peeking into his blog and seeing what’s going on.. or what’s new.. without the guilt driven requirements, is refreshing.

He’s good! And ITS FREE.

Are you getting his emails?

Go, right now, and sign up. Its not too late. Don’t feel impelled to catch up. Just do something. Reap what he’s sowing.
