thursday thunks

Play along here.

1. Hypothetical question- you are in a building with famous works of art, old manuscripts of famous novels, and original sheet music from famous composers. The building is on fire and looks to be completely destroyed. Do you grab any of the famous works before fleeing, and if so what?
The place is on fire. Now is not the time to decipher what to save. I would be more concerned about people and getting people out.

2. In August 1969, the Manson family went on a 2 night killing spree. Do you think 40 years later they have paid for their crimes?
No. I think I can save this judgment for God, though. I’m blessed to not have to worry about their payment. I believe in the laws of the land, and I believe we owe society to keep them safe, at all legal costs, though.

3. Power Outage! What’s the longest you have been without power?
That’s an interesting question. I stayed, in a camp ground, in a tent, with Girlie, for 30 days, a couple years ago. We had no running water or electricity. It wasn’t impossible, but we did have access to things that were provided by electricity, so that’s not exactly “out,” in my book, either.

I, still, think that camping is the longest I’ve been without electricity.

4. Just bought a new tazer gun. Will you let it be tested it on you to see if it works, and how it feels to be tazered?
No. I’ve had an electric shock, before.. and my lower back seems to be a direct electrical connection. I vote for no pain.

5. A neighbor’s mail was delivered to you. In it is a magazine not wrapped in plastic. Is it ok for you to flip through it before giving it to the neighbor? Do you tell them you looked through it?
No, I wouldn’t look through it. If I thought it was something I’d like to look through, I’d ask to see it when they were finished with it. I don’t know my neighbor’s, like friends. There was a time, in the past, when I’d do it, if I knew the friend wouldn’t mind..

6. If I went through your purse/wallet right now, what all would I find in there?
haha Good luck. I carry a backpack. You’d find a notepad, a book, a camera, batteries, a wallet, 2 check books, business card carrier, a personalized post-it pad, 3 blue tooth ear pieces, my phone, tissue packs, pens, sanitary supplies, and 8 million other things. You wouldn’t find chocolate, only because of the heat.

7. Have you been living under a rock?
Absolutely. How does Yahoo Pipes work? :)

8. Tell us something crazy you did this week.
I expected my Sprint Phone Bill to be due in the middle of the month. I tried to talk sensibly to Sprint Customer Care. Again. I’ll let you know if this ends up being another lie.
