My past relationship with Taste of Home Magazine. Come win with me!

tofhomeTaste of Home Magazine, and I, had a whirlwind relationship, in the 1980’s.

I remember long hours of looking for the tooth pick, with my family. (I remembered it as a needle.. I guess because I rarely could find it?)

My all-time favorite recipe, from then, was Oat Cakes. They are labor intensive, but were a Sunday habit, I didn’t cook, when I lived in San Diego.

Taste of Home Magazine has ranked right up there, in tried-and-true, with those church collaborated recipe collections. (Those are my favorite books to find in thrift stores.)

Many techniques, in the kitchen, that I use, everyday, started as recreational reading of Taste of Home Magazine.

I couldn’t be more thrilled, to see Heather, at Home-Ec101 giving away The Taste of Home Recipe Book, that I’ve only coveted reading once or twice. I’m not a big fan of keeping recipe books, like this, so I have always hoped it would be gifted.. or I could peek at someone else’s.

Now, the subscription would be fantabulous! :)

Pick me. Pick me. Pick me. ::giggle::

If I win the Book, I’d like to touch it, for about 2 hours, then have Heather random number it off, again. Ooh.. double win.

orrr…

We could specialty BookCross it! What an idea. I’ll register it and send it to you.. then you send it to someone else.. and on and on.. and we all get to touch the book!

You know you wanna touch it, too.. :)
