101 Exercises for the Soul – Simply Free-to-me

Most of my books come from Paperback Swap, now. Most of my books are not paper back’s, either. PaperbackSwap claims that I’ve saved over $126, but I know that is a very conservative figure, based on the cost of used books. I wouldn’t have bought these books used, so my savings is much much higher.

I can’t remember where I read about Dr. Siegel’s book, 101 Exercises for the Soul, but I decided to add it to my wish list, instead of purchasing it.

Last week, I got an email, “Your wish has been granted.” Someone had uploaded the book and was willing to mail it to me! Sweet!

To buy this book, retail, pay tax, shipping and handling or the gas to go pick it up, I’ve saved myself and my budget at least $20.

Chapter two, of this book’s exercises say “Get a Massage” and “Go to the Gym.” Can someone please inform Dr. Siegel that we don’t have clothes for our current weather. I might have to pick this book up, again, in the Spring.

Regardless, you need Paperback swap, if you read. Dust off some older books and list them.. pay the postage to mail them away.. Use the credits, for each book, to order “new-to-you” books. I’ve only had one negative experience, with the condition, of a book, out of 20+ books.

My current wish list includes:

  • You Learn by Living (Eleanor Roosevelt)
  • The Story of Edgar Sawtelle (David Wroblewski)
  • Sacred Chaos (Tricia McCary Rhodes)
  • The Might Queens of Freeville (Amy Dickinsen)
  • 365 Prescriptions for the Soul (Bernie Siegel)

Swap your Books. Give others a chance to learn, too. Its Easy.
