Comment Spam is the weight that broke this camel’s back.

I have been fighting moving blog platforms.

I <3 Blogger.  I really do.

I love it so much, I could teach a few classes about why it was the perfect place for me to learn how to blog.  I still believe its the best free platform to get your feet wet.  A parked domain forwards and off you go..

I still have a couple of blogs on Blogger.

Comments are why I’ve left Blogger behind, for this blog.

I’ve struggled with comment moderation, while I’ve watched my friends struggle to leave comments.

Commenting should be easy.

This simple little nothing is the last thing I’m willing to tolerate, though:

You see.. in comment moderation, I approved a really sweet, innocent comment, without looking at the name.  Upon further investigation, trying to reply, I realized I made an awful mistake.  This comment was not sweet and innocent, at all.  It was blatant spam.

Okay, so one got over on me..  I have a delete button.

The problem is what you see, above, is exactly what is left, after you delete.  The spam was in the name and the link, attached to the name, too.

This is Blogger’s way of making me tolerate spam.  So, I will only leave my blogs, on Blogger, that do not receive, need, nor ever expect any comments.  Ever.

Sorry Blogger.  Trix are for kidz!
